Plate Rolling
H&L Pipe and Steel can roll plates in thickness ranging from sheet metal to a 3″ radius to 10ft wide plates up to 1.125″ . Our 20ft Bertsch 4 roll machine can bend plate in 20ft widths up to 5/8″ thick. Our 10ft mechanical Bertsch machine has rolled plates up 1.5″ in a narrower width.
In addition to rolling A-36 carbon steel, we can roll AR plate, stainless steel and aluminum.
H&L has also used the plate rolls to form spirals for staircases and for auger skirts for foundation drilling tools.
With our larger roll machines, we have straightened and flattened road plates and trench shoring plates.
